Abstract is defined as existing in thought or idea but not having a physical or concrete existence. This is my home, my comfort zone for expression where I can create a physical world where the abstract exists, but it is only my attempt to bring shape, form, line and color to what can’t be seen.

My work reflects the chaotic and random nature of the universe where everything from the largest physical mass to the smallest quantum particle is in motion colliding with each other in random events thus creating new elements. Order if it ever occurs is temporary which mirrors the human condition. Yet there is beauty in this ever changing universe.

This is the essence of my work. The seemingly random strokes of color, line and shapes colliding and intersecting creates beautiful and interesting possibilities that in many ways mirrors the human condition echoing the natural chaotic nature of the universe and Life. Elements interacting/colliding with other elements to create new elements not seen before.
